Falabella aimed to augment its Christmas campaign by deploying an interactive, in-store activation. The system was designed to allow customers to engage with a virtual representation of Chayanne through an AI-driven interface controlled by voice commands.
Following a data-capture and recording session with Chayanne in Miami, Wainot's technical team utilized deep learning and lipsync technologies. This framework enabled the system to generate personalized video greetings from the talent. Furthermore, the platform included supplementary interactive modules, such as a karaoke function and a virtual photo-op (selfie) capability.
The physical deployment included 9 booths and 18 totems installed in Falabella retail locations across Chile, supplemented by 4 additional units in Colombia. This in-store activation registered approximately 71,000 user participants. A parallel web-based version of the experience engaged another 372,000 users, resulting in a total of over 440,000 user interactions across both platforms.
